Injuries and EMS Script Discussion.

We are interested in hearing what the community thinks would make a great and realistic injury and EMS script for example:

when someone crashes their car, can we figure out what some realistic injuries might be and attach those to the player? how would EMS script-wise be able to react to those?

And whether it should it be put out as /me or /ame

Let us know what you think.

Would love to see some kind of ArmA ACE-style integration of having an UI for EMS to observe and treat injuries from a menu with certain key items from a BLS/ALS bag. Or other specific items for things like surgeries or xrays even.

A script that would allow hospital staff to put a patient into "recovery" to avoid people from running around like a mad man right after surgery in order to prevent PG etc.

Would be nice if we could get a wheelchair script of some form, where people would be able to RP buying a wheelchair or rather renting one from the hospital and then perhaps going to a ped within the hospital where they can get an item, if we are being super fancy we try to make it movable somehow, for example, people would be able to interact with it and push it? That script would also be handy when Paramedics are using stretchers

For the injury part:

Have an /ame appear on the screen and depending on how far a player is from the person getting injured the /ame should be shown in their chatbox too if they are within the range...

For example: *Jane Doe injured her right leg.

ideas for body parts:

Right Leg
Left Leg
Right Arm
Left Arm
Torso
Back
Shoulder?
Head

I don't know how you'd go about and script this so that if you are for example shot in the back it would register as the back or shoulder area but I know the rest should be doable.

For example: *Jane Doe injured her right leg.

The /me can be generic, but I'd like for the injury system to be a lot more specific behind the scenes, so an X-ray could be taken and reveal that it's a fractured tibia.

Sounds great, though I got no idea how that would work but if you can make it then go for it!

a medication system if possible too would probably create more rp at the pharmacy etc
fx the doctors subscribe you some strong pain killers after your MVA or shoot out etc by doing a command including your name and the medication they give you, and you go pick them up at a pharmacy. At the pharmacy they can somehow check what’s been subscribed to you and by whom and for how long, dosis etc

Oh yeah! I'd love to see lots of varities for injuries as this will enhance EMS and hospital RP.
Most of the time they will probably handle gunshot wounds and motor vehicle collisions. Hence, the script should be able to force players to roleplay out certain injuries they could not think about. The examples above are decent and they could be made conditional on how fast someone was driving their car when the collision happened or how severe the collision was.

Also major injuries should cause some sort of blood loss. This way people can donate their blood sometimes so it can be re-used.

EMS as well as hospital personnel should be given the ability to carry players to replace stretchers. Not sure if stretchers can be a thing, so that would do too!

so you want to force the players to behave in certain ways? probably you want to do this, if the player goes to the hospital, it will take time, not that he will leave soon or after a few minutes to continue the game? well, what will happen if the player gets PK'ed, what will be the role of medics, what will it look like or maybe you resign or replace PK term with something other? the player will have to look at operational issues? he will be forced to do so? how long the longest operation will take? players can spend up to several days in the hospital? I am curious about it + great idea anyway
